All about the benefits of BEETS

I have always loved beets.  In this page I will be adding information about the beets and it's health benefits. Growing up, I had heard ladies talk about beets and how it had melted kidney stones. When a while back I had kidney stones, I asked my husband to buy me a can of beets. And within two days I passed the kidney stone! Also have lemon juice and plenty of water. NEW Study: Loading Up on THESE Vegetables Increases Muscle Strength, Even Without Exercise In a study published just last week in The Journal of Nutrition , researchers found that eating one cup a day of green leafy vegetables significantly boosts muscle function.  And, as it turns out, muscle function is good for a lot more than beating up cartoon bullies – it is strongly associated with health and well-being, supports bone strength, and leads to a decreased risk of falls with aging (an important benefit for a graying population).  Let’s take a look at the power of “green leafies” to enhance ...

Live life and the downside of technology

We keep reading about the advancement of technology. However, what's some of the downsides? What's your thoughts? Via Social Media: A Story - Spend time with people. I had spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn't resist myself & asked... ''Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?'' ''Why would I do that?'' I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking. He asked ''If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house? ''Yes, yes''! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything! His answer left me tongue-tied. He said ''Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the...

Do you still love me?

Via Nicolas on Social Media   ***THIS IS A RECEIVED AND SHARED POST (and read it entirely should you have the courage)*** WORTH READING She looked at herself in the mirror, then she looked at him who was sitting on the bed, she asked him, do you still like me? He responded, like the first day. She put her hands on her waist and asked, have you noticed that my body is no longer the same as when we met? He answered. No. She took her hands to her bust and asked him, have you noticed that my bust is already fallen, he replied. No. She lifted her robe and looked down at her legs and asked, Have you noticed that my legs are no longer hard and smooth like before? He answered Not again. Then she approached him and with tears in her eyes she asked him. So what are you doing next to me if you don't see me anymore, if you don't even realize how much my body has changed, we sleep together and you don't realize that I'm not the same as yesterday? He smiled and told her long bef...

DON'T DIE WITH YOUR DEAD

Via Nicolas on Social Media ***THIS IS A RECEIVED AND SHARED POST*** DON'T DIE WITH YOUR DEAD. Did you know that when you mourn your dead, you cry for yourself and not for them?   You cry because you "lost them", because you don't HAVE THEM by your side. You think that everything ends with death. And you think that they are NO longer here. So if your dead are no longer there, where are they? If they have left, or are now in another place, is that place better than this? Yes, that place is definitely better than this one; then why do you suffer for his departure? When you have finished accepting that they are "NOT here" anymore, but they are still in another place, even better than this, because where they are they are no longer sick or suffering. Then you will stop crying for them and you will recover them in your memory so that they continue to accompany you with the joy of everything you have experienced.   If you really loved them, love them AGAIN and th...
