  Greek Lenten cookies - Keghke/kaak So good with cup of coffee to dunk in Yumm! Presented by TEAM AIC Armenian & International Cuisines and More makes around 50 cookies Ingredients ½ cup Greek extra virgin olive oil ½ cup white sugar ¾ cup freshly squeezed orange juice ¼ cup Greek ouzo* 2 teaspoons orange zest 500gr (1 pound) self rising flour ½ cup (or more) sesame seeds and 2-3 tablespoons ouzo for sprinkling Instructions In a large bowl we mix all the ingredients together, except sesame seeds and the extra ouzo. We do not overmix. We shape into cookies. We put 2 inches apart on baking sheet. With a pastry brush we glaze the cookies with the rest of the ouzo and we sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
