January 12, 2021 The pandemic has inspired so many changes and innovations. But when it’s over, one innovation may have an outsized effect on the future: mRNA (messenger RNA) technology. Unlike traditional vaccines, mRNA vaccines don’t expose our bodies directly to pathogens. They trigger an immune response with just a snippet of genetic code.
